• You have psoriasis in the treatment area.

** Please note, even if none of the above apply, lip blushing cannot be guaranteed. This is a cosmetic tattooing procedure, the skin can be unpredictable, & it is up to your skin to retain the pigment. Generally, results are successful, however, due to skin type, healing or bleeding during procedure, some results can vary**

If you have hyperpigmentation on your lips (dark spots, purples, or blues) you will need to first get a lip neutralization.
Lip neutralization is lip blushing but for color correction, it is the first step needed before implanting a color pigment. This first neutralization process does not fully define or add color to the lips, it neutralizes the dark/cool tones in the lips to set a foundational base for color.
Color will be deposited and lip definition will created at your second session. (Assuming first neutralization worked and you don’t need a 2nd). -
The procedure takes about 3 hours. The consultation & prep work take some time. After we have discussed your concerns drawn out a shape that we have agreed on your procedure will begin. Numbing cream will be applied for 20-30 mins then we will start the process.
-
Pain levels vary from person to person. Strong medical grade topical anesthetic cream is used before & during your procedure to keep you as pain-free as possible.

This is up to the look each individual is trying to achieve. The colors we tattoo with are natural and intended to look very natural. We can enhance your natural color or add color if you’re lacking, or add a specific tint that you’re looking for, but it remains soft and natural. That way when you do decide to change it up and want to wear lipstick it will still look great over top, and can cover you tattoo with whatever color we decide to use.

If you have an outbreak, or any other type of scratch/acne we ask that you reschedule your appointment as soon as possible. If you show up with any type of outbreak your appointment is considered cancel and you forfeit your deposit.

This service is not recommended for smokers. The heat will affect the healing and in most cases the pigment will not retain. Smoking also causes hyperpigmentation in the lips and lip blushing cannot color correct on active smokers.

If you have any hyperpigmentation, sores, or upset skin around the outside of the lips this procedure is not recommended as the pulling and stretching while tattooing can irritate the skin and cause more harm than good.
